Nordic Working V Saturday May 28, 2011 10.00 - 16.00 uur De Bonte Wever, Assen Many Dutch consider countries in Northern Europe a perfect place to live. They see themselves working in a nice firm or earning a living as self employed. They have the opportunity to visit Nordic Working V, for five years already The Scandinavian information fair in the North of the Netherlands. The fair in a nutshell: EURES advisers Visitors have the chance to meet EURES-advisers from the Scandinavian countries and Finland. These representatives give up to date information about the labour market and advise about future possibilities the various sectors. Visitors are advised to bring their translated CV. Vacancies? http://ec.europa.eu/eures/ Placement A Norwegian company and co-organiser of Nordic Working V. They give information and advise about emigration projects and about living, self employment and working in Norway, Sweden and Denmark in general. Municipalities from Norway, Sweden and Denmark search for enterprising people We expect Gratangen, Lavangen en Skånland en Høyanger from Norway. Also municipalities from Sweden, region Kalmar and the municipalities Kallbygden i Åre and Ånge. From Denmark we expect Skive commune. Representants from these municipalities advise visitors about living and working conditions as well as about working as self employed in their region. But also give information on housing and education! Self employed in Northern Europe Experts from the Chamber of Commerce and from UWV WERKbedrijf give advise and presentations on this topic. Emigration Preparation is a must. - Social security Experts from the UWV (International department) and SVB inform and advise on special matters like f.i. exporting unemployment, retirement- and children benefits. - Moving Moving is, in our opinion, an important part in the process. Two moving companies there fore will attend Nordic Working V. - Language Language, for sure one of the most important aspects for whom who is thinking about moving to another country. There fore this time again the Scandinavian Translating and Information bureau (SVIN) will be there too. Education Services (DUO) and Europass Experts on recognition and legislation of diplomas and documents like the Europass CV and -passport. They give information about education, traineeships and (volunteer-) work abroad, also by means of the Mobilitywizard. Youngsters Nordic Working V has a special focus on young people. Boys and girls who have nearly finished their school and think of a job abroad. They can find out all that is needed to work in another European country f.i. in a seasonal job. The launch of the EURES-game! During Nordic Working V the EURES Game will be launched. From that moment it’s possible, also on the fair, to play this game online. Nordic KUBB-championship A little bit of Nordic culture. During NW V visitors are acquainted with this typical Nordic sport; Kubb. Kubb Club: 'De Lösse Pøls' gives demonstrations and the public is welcome to practise as well. Between 12.00 and 13.00 hr. 'De Lösse Pøls' organises the Nordic Kubb-championships.
